We MUST remember the sacrifices that were made, and honor our veterans, the military, and those who have fallen...

An organization dedicated to honoring veterans, the military, and those who have fallen.
Just scroll down to see how a few folks who care have been able to make a difference...

100% of all funds raised go toward supporting the procurement of items on 14 wish lists from state veteran homes in 13 states and honoring veterans, the military, and those who have fallen.

Wish list items range from colored markers to underwear to mini-golf courses, as well as items such as brooms, mops and coffee pots.

We are an official 501(c)(3) non-profit charity recognized by the Internal Revenue service, so your donations are tax deductible accordingly.

You should see the looks on the faces of veterans residing in state veteran homes when they receive wish list items, or are honored as the REMEMBERaVET.net Veteran of the Month. Who knows, it could be YOUR purchase, donation, or volunteer spirit that puts a smile on a veteran's face when their facility receives a wish list item, and they know that they are remembered, and that we are grateful for their service to their country.

 Are you willing to help?

We want to honor these veterans by helping them to improve their quality of life. It's easy to help us help veterans residing in state veteran homes- check out the rest of the website, or go straight to
http://shop.REMEMBERaVET.net/ to order merchandise or donate

(as little as $1 is an option, and every dollar helps).

We also collaborate with others to honor veterans, the military, and those who have fallen. Some examples include:

  • Sponsoring a dinner to support the placement of wreaths during the holidays on the graves of those who have fallen and were laid to rest at the veterans' cemetery .
With the help of folks like you, we were able to sponsor a fundraiser to purchase wreaths to be placed on every grave in honor of our fallen at the Sacramento Valley National Veterans' Cemetery. This photo is from 9Jan, 2010, when hundreds of volunteers assembled for the clean up of the wreaths that were in place during the Christmas holiday season.
  • Collaborating with others to honor veterans in state veteran homes by purchasing items from their home's wish list.

REMEMBERaVET.net collaborated with Nurses Tricia Smith and Lori Scott, and Marketing Rep Pattye Morris of Volunteer Home care in Dyersburg, TN recently. the ladies visited the Tennesse State Veterans' Home in Humboldt to deliver the items from the wish list that the home had submitted to REMEMBERaVET.net. They were greeted by many grateful residents, including Louise McCaslin, George Harrison (seated), and Clyde Wisham (standing), among others.

We have placed the call from coast to coast for Veteran of the Month nominations.

Do YOU know a vet that is worthy to be recognized as the REMEMBERaVET.net Veteran of the Month? If so, send an email to nominate them! Just list their name, branch of service, and years served and email along with your contact information to Randy@REMEMBERaVET.net . Who knows- it could be YOUR nomination that is the next Veteran of the Month!

How Will We Do It?
Randy set out with the intent to ride his Harley coast-to-coast (California to Florida and back) starting in September of 2008. He collected wish lists from 14 state veteran homes in 13 different states from coast-to-coast. Randy visited with the vets, remembering them for all they gave, and reminding them what we are trying to do for them; make sure that their service, dedication, and commitment are remembered. We want them to know that there are folks out there who are grateful for their service, and we want them to know that they are NOT alone.

THE wish lists ARE POSTED, and can be viewed by CLICKING HERE.
If you have trouble viewing the wish list, or ave any other questions, just contact us by sending an email to Randy@REMEMBERaVET.net

...It may take a few days to get back to you, but I will get back to you...

I completed the initial coast-to-coast mission, stopping at state veterans homes across the country to pick up wish lists for us to fill, and talking to various television and radio shows about our effort so that great folks like you will know how to help.
The wish lists are now compiled and viewable by clicking here- you can decide for yourself which home to support, and even what item(s) you'd like to provide- check it out, and PLEASE help us spread the word about the website; we'd really appreciate your help, and so would many veterans residing in the state veteran homes I visited.
Even if you do not order from us, or donate, please do find a veteran's cause that you would like to help, and help them any way you can.
OUR VETS NEED US NOW!!!
